SLAC & SNAC summary

     R/O instability without arthritis – candidate for Blatt, Brunelli, STT

Stage I = Radioscaphoid –> non-operatvie, Styloidectomy

Stage II – Proximal pole scaphoid –> PRC or treat as stage III

–> n.b. preserved head of capitate, some grip weakness, take out lunate 1st.

Stage III – proximal migration of capitate –> 4CF +/- styloidectomy +/- scaphoidectomy

–>C-H-T-L fusion — 0.045 k-wires X 4   + cast X 8/52
